This 240-volt heater coil is designed to enhance Goodman air handlers with powerful winter heating, delivering an impressive 68,200 BTUs of heat. Engineered for optimal performance, it is controlled by sequencers to ensure balanced temperatures. The unit comes pre-assembled and tested, featuring rust-resistant nickel-chromium heating elements, high-temperature limit controls for safety, and built-in overcurrent protection. A plug-in wiring harness allows for quick and easy installation into air handlers.
For installation, line voltage connects directly to the heater coil, operating both the heater coil and the air handler without the need for a separate circuit. Depending on the heater coil size, one or two circuits may be required, as detailed in the product specifications. At the circuit panel, individual 220-volt double-pole circuit breakers are needed for each circuit.
