    This condenser supports 6K, 9K, 12K, and 18K MRCOOL 5th Gen air handlers. A minimum of 2 air handlers must be connected, and total combined capacity should be between 70% and 122% of the rated output (18,900 – 33,000 BTU).

    Examples of valid combinations include:

    • 12K + 12K + 6K = 30K
    • 9K + 9K + 9K = 27K
    • 18K + 12K = 30K
    • 6K + 6K + 12K = 24K
    • 9K + 12K + 6K = 27K

    Recommended Wire Size

    • Recommended: 10 AWG copper wire – supports 24A MCA and 25A max fuse
    • One Size Smaller (12 AWG): Not recommended – may overheat under load and violate NEC code
    • One Size Larger (8 AWG): Ideal for long wire runs or added safety margin to reduce voltage drop
