As part of a MRCOOL DIY system, the MRCOOL DIY 9K BTU Ductless Wall Mounted Air Handler (DIY-09-HP-WMAH-230C25) is one of the most efficient air handlers available. Not only can it produce a 22 SEER efficiency rating it can also cover an area up to 375 sq. ft. It is also incredibly versatile and equipped with multiple operating modes, which include COOL, HEAT, AUTO, DRY (dehumidify), and SLEEP. This unit also has the capability to be controlled by your Apple or Android smartphone through the use of the Smart HVAC app. With its light and compact design, it can be installed easily to most interior walls with the included mounting plate.
To take the simplicity of the installation even further, this air handler is designed to be used with MRCOOL patented Pre-Charged Quick Connect Line Set. The line set is equipped with quick connectors which give a DIY installer the ability to connect the refrigerant piping with wrenches. The line set comes from the factory pre-charged with the correct amount of R-410A refrigerant, so no vacuuming is necessary.
