What to check for electric heating
Identify the supply voltage available at the installation and have the circuit capacity checked. Bromic electric model listings distinguish output and voltage, so do not assume that all similar-looking units connect to the same supply. Plan the mounting position and use the specific manual for clearances and wiring requirements. A compatible dimming control may provide adjustable output where the heater and controller documentation support it.

What to check for gas heating
Identify natural gas or propane before choosing a model. The installer must verify the gas supply, ventilation, mounting location and required clearances, as well as any electrical requirements for the selected unit. Do not assume a model is field-convertible between fuels. Bromic's gas family pages list the applicable fuel configurations and manufacturer documents.

Compare installation options fairly
A wall-mounted, ceiling-mounted or freestanding installation can change the available space and supporting components. Compare actual approved mounting options and included equipment for each candidate. A covered patio is not automatically suitable for every model: construction, overhead materials and the manufacturer's requirements still determine the permitted installation.
Plan the controls with the heater
On/off and dimming are different functions. Bromic's current controls chart identifies supported heater families and capacity limits. Make the final comparison
