Platinum and Tungsten are Bromic product families, each with more than one configuration. A meaningful comparison starts with the same power source and the needs of the installation. Comparing only family names can conceal differences in output, voltage, fuel or mounting requirements.
Start with electric or gas
If your installer has confirmed an electrical supply and mounting location, compare the electric models within both families. If the project calls for gas, compare the appropriate natural-gas or propane models. Avoid using a specification from a gas product to describe an electric heater in the same family.
Compare the physical design
Bromic describes Platinum Electric as an ultra-slim heater with a ceramic-glass face, while Tungsten Electric uses an exposed-element design. Appearance can help narrow the choice, but use each model's dimensions, finish and mounting documents to confirm how it fits the space. A flush-mount concept requires the appropriate documented kit and installation conditions.
Compare exact output and supply
Record the wattage and supply voltage for electric candidates, or the stated output and fuel for gas candidates. Bromic's official specification tables and the exact SKU on the product page should agree. Do not treat two versions with different voltages as interchangeable. Review the model selection checklist if the names are similar.
Keep Marine models distinct
Freedom lists Platinum Marine products separately to help identify the relevant heaters and components. A general Platinum listing should not be assumed to have a Marine designation, and a Marine heater does not establish that a generic mounting kit is appropriate. Confirm both item numbers against the applicable manufacturer documentation.
Compare the complete installation
